spa furniture & furnishings

Spa houses have been ordering some spa furniture and furnishings from Leoque Philippines these past weeks. I don’t have data to back it up, but looks like, spa business (including home spa service) is more popular than ever. Spa business is allied with health & wellness clubs, clinics & rehabilitation centers, massage salons, hairdressers & skin treatments, etc.

Aside from the actual spa service, spa interior design plays a major part in communicating with visitors. Spa owners should pay lots of attention to the spa interior design. Making sure that it will impart a feeling or setting of a tranquil spa environment. One that will ensure a memorable relaxing experience for the spa goers.

Aside from the spa house structure/building itself, one can actually add up elements of color and texture into the scheme of things by incorporating spa furniture and spa accents. All the buys in the past weeks, they follow certain concept. That is, more like Filipino-tropical themed interiors, Balinese inspired, with touch of Zen, with earthy color palette, loaded with natural environment (rocks & pebbles, water fountains, flowers & blooms) and lots of native materials too. Some other elements one can add up to the Spa design:

Lamp and lights. Lighting is critical in any spa design. Sconces, table lamps and up lights are great options to have that relaxing vibe.

Candle holders. Candles are amazingly affordable are very versatile when it comes to placement. Candles give soft light for an instant mood of relaxation and healing experience even.

Canopy & drapes. A feeling of intimacy/privacy is achieved with the use of curtains, drapes & canopies.

Buddha Fever. The spa design won’t be complete without the Buddha figures. Be it the old traditional “Filipino” Buddha or the more “Asian” Thai Buddhas, both are must-haves.

Divider function as that, a space divider for individual cubicles for nail spa, divide space for each massage beds, etc. These dividers can also also act as backdrops inside spa rooms, spa reception areas, relaxation rooms, etc.

Wall metal decors. The abstract wall metal arts, the ones that intrigue the mind, are definitely recommended.

Wheel and other round table-top accent.

Spa Furniture… Other furniture you can add up to complete the spa design are massage bed, massage table, reception bench – seating, side table which can also be used as manicure table, foot stool, wooden shelves & chests, spa console table and full-body mirror.

After all these are set, time to play relaxing music and let the spa business rock it out.
