Hoping for reusable, recycled and remanufactured building and furniture materials depot in the Philippines

I chanced upon this building resources website, a non profit org in the US that provides artisans/craftsmen, recycled and resuable materials (wood, slate, steel, etc.) to be used for new creations like furniture, or home interior finishing even. For DIY builders, home woodworking enthusiasts, industrial artists, those who love eco-friendly stuff, this is paradise, salvaged materials paradise.

I kinda envy those who are around a hub like this, where they can sift through the inventory, get back home/production house, and build things out of them. The closest thing that I can think of where there are used/surplus items is at HMR Philippines. Last time I checked though, a lot of the stuff in there are more of finished goods, home appliances and electronic items. But there are definitely products in there worth buying and later, converting to artsy pieces, scrap arts, or pieces for modern use (like lamps, chairs, shelving units, etc.) Another likely source of second hand items is from the thrift store in and around the Evangelista/Bangkal area. Both though (HMR & Bangkal), are not source of raw materials but made-products that can be modified for better form and dated applications.
