ArthaLand, Arya Residences bag three major distinctions in the 1st Philippines Property Awards

It pays to be green. This is once again proven by ArthaLand Corporation and its flagship project, Arya Residences, as it gathered major recognitions, this time as the Best Boutique Developer, Best Luxury Condominium Development (Manila), and Best Residential Architectural Design respectively from the Philippines Property Awards 2013.
The first Philippines Property Awards is organized by Ensign Media, conducted with its independent panel of judges, and supervised by BDO International Limited. The awards were announced in a ceremony held last Monday, September 30 and attended by major developers across the country.
Thorough judging process
The selection of ArthaLand and Arya Residences in the Philippines Property Awards went through a stringent process, reflecting the high bar set by the organizers and at par with the same competitions held across the region.
Terry Blackburn, Ensign Media CEO explains, “A thorough and rigorous judging process by an independent panel of judges, with oversight by BDO International Limited evaluated nominations and entries this year. Those developments short-listed were then subject to site inspections before the judging panel submitted their list of Winners and Highly Commended developments and businesses for safe keeping.”
“That the judges and the judging process is independent is paramount for us and has been the cornerstone to success for the awards,” he emphasizes.
Development entries were evaluated according to design and concept including functionality, green initiatives, innovations, and amenities; value for money covering suitability of location and pricing relative to quality; sales and marketing including creativity and performance; state of completion and quality of construction; and additional attention to community benefits and environmental innovation.
Property developers were judged according to reputation, image, CSR, quality of projects, track record, and innovation.
Pushing the green envelop further
“We are honored and deeply inspired by these citations,” says Angie de Villa-Lacson, ArthaLand’s president and CEO who received the awards on behalf of the company together with Nina Cordero, SVP for Project and Business Development; and Gabby Paulino, SVP for Technical Services Department.

It is registered under the USGBC LEED program with a certification goal of Gold. It is also the benchmark vertical residential development in the PhilGBC BERDE program, the national voluntary green building green building rating system.
Arya Residences is built with the highest level of attention to detail and workmanship; it is future proof by design, having 5-star hotel-grade finishes and fixtures, ground-floor-to-penthouse use of double glazed low-E glass windows, and world standard-sustainable features crafted to allow fine living with green consciousness.
Prestigious awards
In 2011, Arya Residences bagged the South East Asia Property Awards (SEAPA) Highly Commended Residential Developments in the Philippines title. It earned the top position as SEAPAs Best Residential Development in the Philippines in 2012.
In 2012, ArthaLand Corporation received the Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology Award in Frankfurt. BCI Asia, a respected authority in the construction consultancy sector in the region identified the company as among the Top 10 Developers in the Philippines for 2013.
WWF-Philippines also conferred ArthaLand with the Environmental Leadership Awards in 2011 and 2012 for its active participation in the groups’ environmental education program.
