About Sungka
Sungka is a game similar to Bantumi and Mancala. The board has two rows of 6 small holes, and two big holes on either side of the board for each player. The object of the game is to pick up shells/stones from the small holes and distribute them one-by-one around the board, including the player’s “bahay” or home pot, the big hole on either side. This continues until all the shells/stones are in the players’ “bahay” and the one with the most stones wins. If you have access to older Nokia phones like the 3310 or the 5510 (the one I have), then you can play a game of Bantumi, which is practically the same as Sungka, with some modified rules.
