Face of the week #2: “MASSKARA” from the city of smile
Posted on | October 19, 2009 |
We have here 20 photos of faces & masks, all home decors. Shot in a span of an hour and half on a rainy Saturday morning. We’ll just post one photo every Monday of the coming weeks, to welcome each week with face-themed posts. Post 2 of 20.
This maskara is from Bacolod City’s MASSKARA Festival. Held every October, a celebration which has earned for Bacolod, the title of “CITY OF SMILE.”
The word MASSKARA came from two words “MASS” which means many and the spanish word “KARA” meaning face. Thus “masskara” means a multitude of smiling faces.
