KLC School of Design has Homes & Gardens Certificate in Interior Decoration. The average completion of the course is 12 months, allowing 8-10 hours a week – although there is no time limit on the course. Exercises, tests and research, which creates 2 submissions of project work. Cost is 395 pounds (around 27,000) full payment but can be on installment scheme, 95 pounds (UK) initially plus 11 monthly payments of 30 pounds. For international students, like those based in the Philippines, postage fee will be added.
The course is presented as “Design Your Own Home” tutorial so it’s not the interior design course for those who want to go deep in the interior decorating world. The student will learn the step-by-step approach to designing his own home. From planning the room layout through to finishing touches, this course will show how to create a workable scheme in his own personal style.
The course comes complete with a comprehensive Student Study Guide, a Reading List and a Glossary. The course is then divided into the following sections:
