The International Furniture and Design Exhibition and Awards (Infdex) 2010 is on course for a record-breaking 9th anniversary show, as sales for 2010 are up by an unprecedented figure compared with this stage in previous years, and exhibitors are already planning to have bigger, better and more spectacular presence than ever before.
Honoured to receive the patronage of The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jaber Al Thani for the second year in a row, Infdex 2010 will feature more than 4,000 traditional designs, current trends and future innovations to create an exhilarating and unique destination for an expected 30,000 furniture and interior design professionals and public visitors.
Organizer Qatar Expo reports interest from the international and local design markets remains strong. In particular international exhibitors from Turkey, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Seychelles and Iran attracted to Infdex 2010 through its inaugural partnership with Epoc Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest exhibition management company.
Confirmed Infdex 2010 exhibitors include country pavilions from Turkey and Indonesia, as well as high-level sponsors led by Nautica-Seychelles, the Ministry of Economy & Commerce and IGEME from Turkey, alongside Media Partners Landmark Shopping Mall Magazine, Economy & Commerce, Lamasat, Touch Décor and Arab Women & Business Magazine.
From offices to hotels, corporate and residential interiors, beautiful designs in all forms will be discovered as Infdex 2010 offers visitors an opportunity to explore and experience a huge range of furniture, accessories, lighting, textiles, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms first hand.
Infdex 2010 hosts the 3rd edition of its hugely successful Best Young Designer Awards sponsored by Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company. Applications for the region’s most prestigious student design prize are now open.
