Classmates, let’s talk about three (3) things pencil today.
UNO
Just when you (or I) thought pencil can’t be re-invented, it looks it can be. Via the new Sharpie Liquid Pencil. The tease contain little… “a game-changing liquid graphite that eliminates broken pencil leads forever, erases likes a pensil, writes likes a pen, and floats like a butterfly, stings like bee“. I think designers should start designing “invinsible sharpener” now. Other than that quick memo, not much info. But the release date is out, September 2010. So write that down (using your charcoal pencil maybe).

If you happen to own pencils but no longer use it because all you do is draw using software, might as well try this… a pencil micro sculpture by Dalton Ghetti…

Dalton is carpenter and doing pencil sculpture is his side project. I learned that to do this, one needs 12 razor blades, 10 sewing needles, 5 sculpting knives and 1245 kilograms of patience to do little pencil art pieces. {via}
