Last May, we posted the cardboard/flexible seating and mentioned Dekahon, check this one by FoldSchool.
Foldschool supports craftsmanship as a face-to-face approach to design and brings together product and user the closest possible.
The mindset of foldschool is to restore design to one of its original missions: to provide a product at an affordable price through a smart manufacturing process.
In simpler terms, they got free downloadable working plans of stool, chair and a rocker for kids which can be printed and worked on by well, even kids (see manual here for a test drive). With recycled or sustainable material at the center of the effort. The furniture available through foldschool is designed by Swiss-based architect, Nicola Enrico Staubli.
