Bad nesting plan

This is a photo post, let me just put the background story. Pull out your hanky.
I saw this bird’s nest in our garden. Likely, a maya nest.
But the location where momma & dadu birds put their nest on is totally wrong. I guess the parent-birds did not read the e-book titled “Put Your Nest Up High” coz they put their nest at around the midpoint of a 6 footer plant. Fail.
And so it being so low, a frog was able to get deep inside the nest. Then later, stray cat was fooling around with the nest (or the frog) and sent the nest to the ground. Too bad, looks like the 4 eggs (about half inch in length) were abandoned. What could have been sweet little birdies end up unhatched. And when I shot this bird’s nest, the frog was still there. BTW, I put the nest back where it was at, back on the plant. I don’t want any part of the egg-xecution.
Sad story indeed.
