Google gets into home building, will they use Google SketchUp to build ’em?

Ikea did it with their BOKLOK concept house.
Recently, another internationally recognized brand will try the mass housing business. Google!
This is one part part investment, one part philanthropic project. As the the project targets low-income and senior citizens in the U.S. Brent Callinicos, Google vice president and treasurer said, “In recent years there has been a void in affordable housing investment. Our investment with USBCDC allows us to further our goal of providing relief to people who otherwise may not have access to quality housing.”
What are the possible perks of renting/living inside a Google owned housing village?
I’ll list some:
- It is possible that the Google houses-for-rent will have the same architecture & interiors of Google offices, fun and cool.
- It is possible that residents have the option to check their rooftop for problems, leaks, dirt, via Google Earth. They’ll have the option to zoom in ’til one 3 mm roof hole is visible by Google Earth.
- It is possible that they’ll have whole community be mapped by Google Maps with ultra-precise details. Then residents & visitors could then print out the map and never ever be lost inside.
- It is possible that they’ll have free 24/7 internet and mobile connection.
- It is possible that Google will have one of their servers/data centers be stationed there. That means faster Google searches for them. Yay!
- It is possible that their front gate sign will change in line with the season/dates/events/holidays. Like how Google-Doodles change.
- It is possible that Google will bundle free computer packages and let the residents watch Youtube videos all day (Google owns Youtube).
- It is possible that will a simple twist of a faucet, your computer will auto-create an account in Orkut, Adwords, Youtube, Gmail, Blogger and will auto-download Google Chrome, Google Earth, Google Talk, Picasa and Google SketchUp.
Speaking of which, will they use Google SketchUp exclusively in building the plans & perspectives? They might as well try it.
