If you’re the 4th richest man in the world, this is what you can do with the money. As Time reported this to be about a billion dollar house. Mukesh Ambani, the owner, certainly is not down to earth and private as he was projected to be in the past. He wants his house and bedroom as high as possible.

Antilia is a twenty-seven floor (560 ft or 173 m) building completed in Mumbai for Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries. The family will occupy about 400,000 square feet, making it the largest home in the world. There will be 600 full-time members staff to maintain the building. Antilia is named after the mythical island in the Atlantic, Antillia.
It is designed by Chicago architects, Perkins & Will. The Melbourne-based construction company Leighton Holdings began constructing it but it has been finished by another company. The construction is inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
The skyscraper will have 3 helipads including air traffic control area at top. The building is equipped with amenities such as a health spa, and small theatre with a seating capacity for 50 on the eighth floor. Other features include multiple swimming pools, three floors of hanging gardens, and a ballroom. Included in the tower are six floors of parking – the seventh floor is for in-house vehicle maintenance. It has been reported in the media to have cost between US$1 billion and $2 billion, making it the most expensive residential building in the world. Reliance, however, said it cost U$50-70 million.

- Mukesh: I want to meet and greet our staff & maids. Wife: Really? Ok, cancel all your oil meetings for today and tomorrow, it will take 2 days to meet & greet your 160 staff.
- Mukesh: Our biotech business is on the red, I’ll propose to the board that we can have our 130 car park be available for a fee for that mall next door, they need additional park space.
- Mukesh: I think we can use floors 14th to 20th to house a call center? Wife: Brillian idea!
- Mukesh: Hmmmm, I think that billionaire dude from Pakistan doesn’t own a home like this. Yeah… India 1 – Pakistan 0.
