Boardwalk Empire coming in Asia

Home & furniture aside… let’s talk TV, not TV rack, but what’s coming on TV next month.
HBO Asia will air the pilot episode on Jan 6th. Am excited. After finishing all the “The Sopranos” DVDs and the “The Pacific”, this is it! This is the next series that I’ll follow. I love Martin Scorsese and a big fan of mob/gangster films (The Godfather Series, The Untouchables, Goodfellas, The Departed, American Gangster… and let me include the “Scarface”). Excited on this one.
Boardwalk Empire is an American television series from premium cable network HBO, set in Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition era. Starring Steve Buscemi, the show was adapted from a chapter about historical criminal kingpin Enoch “Nucky” Johnson in Nelson Johnson’s book, Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City, by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter of The Sopranos. via
I’ll watch this with no prohibition. I’ll grab some alcohol and doritos err, iced tea and pop corn!
