Dit-dah blocks clock, sample actual mounting or hanging
Posted on | February 11, 2011 |
Speaking of clocks today, here’s a sample of DIT-DAH black-blocks-clock installation. Illustrating the mounting on a plywood (you can do it on your walls, be it concrete or wood). We tested it now coz we’re using a simpler eye-screw to mount these blocks. Doing away with the complicated tiny aluminum “u” bar, putting a slot and fastening it to the blocks then painting it black (see, just explaining it made me tired).
The sample below, we used 5 1-inch nails, not the small-head finishing nails. Largerer head, the betterer. You will then nail/screw until only about 3 to 4 mm of the screws/nails is showing up. Then hang. You may also use screws, and screws & tox if concrete. But first, talk about it if you really wanna do some wall drilling (esp for rented flats, sometimes the building owners don’t allow it).
Ok, enough with the intro. Here…
