Bamboo clothespins (sipit na kawayan)
Posted on | August 11, 2011 |
Quickie project… we made a traditional sipit, bamboo clothespin, to clip the tarp display we have in store. We’re using regular office clips and decided to use these clothes pins instead. More in-line with our store, Filipino-themed. The bamboo clips shown above, the line is GI cable. We’re planning to add more steel cable lines at store, then hang & clip some drawings, photos, prints that we have.
(Aside from it’s main & traditional purpose which is as clothes clips, other possible modern uses… paperweights, for art & crafts, card holder, play pick-up-sticks, native “lego”, etc.)
