Juan affects Manila FAME (we think)

We swung by the October edition of the MANILA F.A.M.E. Internation over at WTC today to visit our Bicolano and pottery business friends. By our estimate, the exhibitors outnumber the visitors & trade buyers. Looks like, many of the international visitors were worried of the power of Juan. Local home & fashion buyers and media were surely extra cautious of the drive. But take it from us, the traffic both at Gil Puyat & EDSA routes are light. The Manila Fame International show will end on the 21st. You still have 2 days to go. You too, may be able to see Ogie Alcasid there sans Regine and one of the sisters of Pres. Aquino, she’s there too. More importantly for the exhibitors, they still have two days to go to get more selling/export actions. Hoping that the tail of the storm be out soon and the activity/people Manila Fame picks up.
