The Moon Armchair is one of Mike To’s most recognizable pieces, ergonomically designed with a high quality fiberglass finish, and available in a choice of five colors. The Moon exudes contemporary design, while bringing to mind the futurist ideas of the 1960s and early 1970s. Durable as well as stylish, the sturdy construction and easily cleaned exterior make the Moon ideal for use both indoors or out.
Hong Kong based designer Mike To has built his reputation around functionality and the highest quality workmanship – an ethos that has earned him a string of international clients since he founded his Object Design Studio in 2005.
A graduate of both the First Institute of Art and Design and the Hong Kong Art School, To’s eye for detail and quality have earned recognition and acclaim from many respected circles, culminating in him receiving both the “Hong Kong Art Award” in 2000, and most recently, the “Honorable Designer Award,” presented in 2009 in Singapore.
