Magnetized by the Beatles
Posted on | March 20, 2010 |
I love the Beatles so much that anytime I can seamlessly incorporate Beatles’ items in our home, I’ll be twistin and shoutin’ with joy. Sample – I have a Beatles frame and I have a Beatles portrait (heck, I even have a Beatles necktie). Some DVD (Lennon Legend and some live concerts) and CDs of the Beatles (Anthology Set and the “1” album) too are prominently displayed in our home. I will never quit on the Beatles, never.
Condominium Fall Deaths
Posted on | March 20, 2010 |
Just a reminder to all condo dwellers, the danger of condo balconies, verandas, drying areas and even open wide windows. I mentioned this ‘coz just recently, Ms. Toni Rose Gayda’s son fell from their 4th floor unit (see story here) and another one died last Thursday, an American. Story here. And the condo building facing ours, one resident suffered and died from a 5th floor fall last year. Sincere RIP to all. Suggestion is to secure the area/window with steel grills (if building admin permits). If not… (1) it’s best not to sit on the railings/jamb (2) be conscious of where you are at (3) don’t play around in that area (4) don’t be at the area during wee hours, sad & depressed moments, if you’re drunk, even tipsy and groggy feelings, etc.
Be safe everyone.
