Free photoshop patterns

A collection of 2000 Photoshop patterns, I suggest you bookmark the page and/or start downloading select patterns.
Often used by graphics artists, front-end web developers, we too can find good use for these free patterns. You need not be a Photoshop expert or in the graphics design field to need this in the future. Even my lola can find use for these patterns. If you don’t know how to use it, you may send the file/pattern to the graphics guy and he can do the rest.
You can do lots of things with these… have it printed and use as matting for framing; silkscreen onto fabrics for a customized pillow cases; ‘picture frame’ pattern prints and hang on the wall, print and use as photo album cover, there are companies that do large prints to whatever material you have and so you can have your own customize wallpaper or curtains (though it’s a lot of work really, there are ready-mades out there), or your kid might need a good image/texture for his homework!
(You can have these patterns printed at ordinary photo paper at printing/photo studios. We did it a couple of times now.)
I remember spending lots of energy & time ‘photoshoping’ one graphics/image for a particular DIY-project when in fact, more detailed patterns are available for download, and free. From Arabic & French patterns, to grungy & geometric images, to metallic and sleek, to retro & vintage, floral & fun, etc.
The Photoshop pattern file extension is .pat. Upon download, put it in the “pattern” folder under “presets” folder inside the Adobe Photoshop folder. To use the fresh patterns, click edit, go to Preset Manager, pick the new patterns then load.
Nuff said, here’s the link.
